3 "sweet" ideas with Gerry's gluten free wraps

I found Gerry's Gluten free wraps a while ago and have been eating them ever since! They are convenient, keep really well, and are super versatile.

I use the large ones as pizza bases, the medium sized ones as wraps for lunches and the minis I use when having Mexican dishes, to wrap up a sausage in or for snacks :)

Without going into too much detail I have trouble digesting a variety of things such as fruit, high lactose foods such as milk and wheat based foods. It is annoying and I'm not gonna lie I get a LOT of eye rolls at restaurants.

But I am not very aware of how much I can have of certain foods... 3 button mushrooms is OK.... 6 button mushrooms is bathroom city for 2 hours.

The one thing I miss the most is things that are sweet that don't contain a bucket load of dairy lactose, wheat and fruit.

So as I already had the wraps in the cupboard I thought I would experiment with some sweet things.

Below I have compiled 3 of my favourite sweet snack ideas that involve Gerry's mini wraps that are delicious and satisfy the sweet craving.

Banana and hazelnut spread wrap snacks

Ingredients

Mini wraps

1 banana

Hazelnut spread (I used olive and poppy hazelnut spread but you could also use any kind of nut butter)

Instructions

Heat the wraps in the microwave for 15 seconds on high

Leave to cool for 30 seconds before spreading over the hazelnut spread and then placing on Cut up banana.

Wrap it all up and eat immediately

Chocolate Coconut triangles (makes 8 triangles)

Ingredients

Desiccated coconut

8 squares of Chocolate (you can use whatever chocolate you like)

4 Gerry's mini wraps

Instructions

Heat the wraps in the microwave for 15 seconds on high

Melt the chocolate in the microwave for 30 seconds

Spread a thick layer over all of the wraps then sprinkle coconut over the top.

Place two of the wraps on top of the other two wraps and then place on the freezer to set for 10 minutes.

When set, take out of the freezer and cut into triangles and serve.

Crispy Cinnamon triangles with yogurt dip

Ingredients

1 tablespoon butter

1 tablespoon cinnamon

1 tablespoon coconut sugar (you can use whatever sugar you like)

3 Gerry's mini wraps

Greek yogurt to dip your triangles in

Instructions

Turn oven to 180°

Melt butter

Cut wraps into triangles

Spread melted butter onto triangles

Sprinkle over the cinnamon and sugar

Place in the oven for 3-5 minutes

Serve with unsweetened greek yogurt as a dip
